BREAKTHROUGH DEVOTION DECEMBER 1ST 2024.

TOPIC: I REJECT THE SPIRIT OF ICHABOD
BIBLE TEXT: I SAMUEL 4:21
“And she named the child Ichabod, saying, The glory is departed from Israel: because the ark of God was taken, and because of her father in law and her husband”

It is unfortunate that many Christians do not know the meaning of Ichabod despite their boastful years in faith. If you are an addicted student of the word, then you will know that Ichabod means the GLORY HAS DEPARTED FROM ISRAEL. 

The word Ichabod means literally “inglorious” or there is no glory. When a man lacks glory, that man will struggle until he finally dies. By the name that is above every other name, your lost glory shall be restored in Jesus name.

The glory of God is used to describe God’s manifold favour and blessings towards His people. The opposite of Glory is shame. The enemy desire is to see that you are in shame and calamities but good news for you, you are totally delivered from the wiles of the devil in Jesus name.

The reason why many people are suffering without a solution is that they are ignorant of the truth. The truth is the weapon for our deliverance. (John 8:32). The truth is what the scripture described as the word of deliverance.(Luke 4:18). The preaching of deliverance can be likened to the word of deliverance. 

As from today, every spirit called Ichabod that is ravaging any aspect of your life, you are totally delivered from such spirit in Jesus name.

The spirit of Ichabod is a very subtle spirit that you must guard against by your violent prayers. When you pray against this spirit of Ichabod, you will cease to be a prey and captive. I believe you are set for prayers.

1.Oh Lord, I reject every arrow of the spirit of Ichabod that has been shot to my life in Jesus name.

2. By the name of Jesus Christ, I and my Household refuse to be a candidate for the spirit of Ichabod.

3. As from this moment, my glory that has been buried, resurrect by fire in the name of Jesus Christ. 

4. Father restore unto me all my glory in every aspect of my life in Jesus name.

5. My glory shall not be captured again in the name of Jesus Christ. 

6. Oh you that spirit of Ichabod, I cast you off from my life and family in the name of Jesus.

7. Every generational Ichabod monitoring my progress, I destroy you by fire in the name of Jesus Christ. 

8. Every spirit of Ichabod residing in the Foundation of my life, get out by fire in the name of Jesus Christ. 

9. Every spirit of Ichabod friends or association that is limiting me or preventing me from entering my land of testimonies, Oh Lord remove me from such friends by thunder in Jesus name.

10. Oh Lord deliver me from every soul-tie with the spirit of Ichabod.
