TOPIC: BREAKING THE CURSE OF WORKING BUT NEVER ENJOYING. PART 2.  

BIBLE TEXT: HAGGAI 1:6.  
“Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.” 
 
My beloved kingdom friends, what does it mean to work but never enjoy? It means:- 

1. To labour without tangible results. 

2. To build, and another person takes the glory. 

3. To plant but not harvest. 

4. To earn money, but it disappears mysteriously. 

5. To get opportunities, but they never yield good outcomes. 

6. To spend one’s strength, time, and youth, yet have nothing to show for it. 

7. To experience near-success syndrome in finances and destiny. 
 
Let’s examine few biblical examples of this curse of working but never enjoying. 
  
1.Haggai’s Generation (Haggai 1:6–9):- They laboured and earned wages, but inflation and devourers consumed everything. 
 
2. The Israelites in Egypt:- They built treasure cities for Pharaoh but never enjoyed the benefit until deliverance came. 
 
3. The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11–24):- Wasted labour due to disobedience, but restoration came when he returned to the Father.  

Let’s pray the following prayers:- 

1.Every spiritual hole in my financial basket, be sealed by fire! 

2. You powers that feed on my labour in the night, catch fire now! 

3. Any power turning my sweat into sorrow, die by fire! 

4. Every devourer assigned against my resources, be roasted by fire! 

5. I command all invisible thieves of my blessings to return them sevenfold! 

6. You spiritual caterpillars and cankerworms feeding on my labour, die in Jesus’ name! 

7. My finances, reject every form of leakage and wastage! 

8. Every satanic embargo on my business or job, scatter by fire! 

9. Every spirit of profitless effort, I cast you out in Jesus’ name! 

10. Every power that diverts my financial breakthroughs to others, perish now! 

11. O Lord, deliver me from every household enemy monitoring my harvest! 

12. Every spiritual tax collector assigned to drain my profit, die by fire! 

13. My labour, receive divine security from heaven in Jesus’ name! 

14. Every demonic bank holding my money in the spirit, release it now! 

15. Powers transferring my blessings to others, return them and die! 

16. I command all financial wasters assigned against me to scatter unto desolation! 

17. My harvest shall not be eaten by strangers in Jesus’ name! 

18. Angels of fire, surround my income and protect my rewards! 

19. Every demonic hand siphoning my progress, wither now by fire! 

20. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost consume every agent of delay attacking my finances!
